My daughter enjoys being naked. I don't mind this - I think it's cute. But it's the dead of winter and it's really cold, so I can't figure out why she still wants to be naked all the time. But anyway...
A week or so ago, when Shane was home sick with pneumonia, we were both sitting on the couch. After Breanna had visited the potty, she had refused any clothing and then came up to us on the couch and stated quite clearly, "Mommy sittin' on a couch. Daddy sittin' on a couch. Weanna naked."
Now I'm at my mom's, where I've been for the past week. The other day, to make sure we knew what color shirt we were each wearing, she informed us that "Mommy pink, Gwammy bwue, Weanna naked."
Just making sure we got that straight.

Sweet Prayers
Tonight at dinner, Breanna prayed for the first time by herself without repeating after me or Shane. There were actually four separate prayers, plus the one at bedtime. Here is our best recollection of them all.
1. Dear God. Thanks you a day. An a pwaying (playing). God a meet a needs (her BSF theme last week was "God will meet all our needs"). Rind around the rosie, pocket a posies, ashes, ashes. Ring around a rosie song! Amen.
2. Thanks you a God. Thanks you a Mommy. Thanks you a Daddy. Thanks you a Grammy. Thanks you a Weanna (Breanna). Amen.
3. Thanks you a Mommy and Daddy and Grammy and Weanna, and Grammy and Mommy and Bible and all together. Amen. (This was the first time she had ever actually used the word "and."
4. Thanks you God. Thanks you a day. Thanks you a Mommy and Daddy and Grammy and picture and door and tree and picture and picture and fishies and box and 2 boxes (not sure what the second box is). And Mommy and Grammy (just in case you didn't get that the first time around).
The Bedtime Prayer: Dear God. Thanks you a day. Not wisten a Daddy - time to eat. Thanks a water in a milk cup. (Shane brought her water in her milk cup just before bed, but previously she had not listened several times, including when it was time to eat, so I guess she was confessing her sins to God there.) Amen.
Wow. I just hope her example will remind me that I need to have prayer more in the forefront of my mind!!
