New Scripture references
Breanna has a craft foam egg decorated from something at church that says something about Jesus being our Lamb, and she insisted to Daddy today that it said, "Jesus is here every day. Matthew 23:17-8"

Mother's Day
First thing this morning, Breanna walked into Katelyn's room and said, "Happy Mother's Day!!!!" I thanked her and she followed up with, "I want to make Mother's Day special. I'm going to take a trip to Kroger to pick up some flowers." I said, "Oh, that's so sweet, honey," and then she said, "Because that's what the commercial said."
She hadn't watched TV for two days as of this morning, so I'm not sure when she saw a Kroger commercial, but I guess she just tucked the info away in her little memory from a few days ago. Love it. :-)

Sweet Love
Yesterday, Breanna actually cried because she doesn't want to go to Pre-K because she'll miss me too much. This is heartwarming after all the times she has yelled at me just in the last few days, not to mention the last 2 years! I told her it's not for several more months yet, and that she's going to love it and have lots of fun. For some reason there was just no consoling her about it yesterday. I'm sure we'll have more ups and downs about it, but the bottom line is: I think she needs other people to teach her, but I will definitely miss my girl - she's just growing up so fast. And Katelyn's not far behind. :-(
Going boating?
The other day the church where BSF meets was also a voting precinct center. On the way out, after I'd already explained it on the way in, Breanna asked if I was going on a boat trip. I said, "Huh?" She said, "Are you going boating, too?" I realized she had misunderstood and said, "No honey, VOTING, not BOATING." This got a good laugh from all the campaigners out in their lawn chairs with their signs.
