inventive printing
I said, in response to Breanna writing a bizarre sort-of enclosed e-shaped thing where an a should be: Honey, That's not an a. Breanna: That's my a. Me: But no one else will be able to tell, b/c that's not what an a looks like. Breanna: Well, I can tell everybody!

How to pray
When I asked Breanna why she wouldn't close her eyes when we prayed, she said she just can't close her eyes very well. She said, "See?" and proceeded to scrunch her face up and sort of flutter her eyelashes. Then she said, "I'm just not very closey-eyeish." Oh, well that explains it. It would indeed be difficult to close my eyes if I were not very closey-eyeish.
Explaining Death
Breanna asked me if I had any Papas. I said, yes, but they're both in heaven now. She wanted to know how they got there - not what allowed them to be there, but physically how they got there. I said, trying not to scare her since she just got over being sick, that they were old and they got sick and their earthly bodies just quit working. So their spirits went to heaven to be with Jesus. This seemed to satisfy her, since it sounded better than her idea:
"Did they just disappear like magic? Or melt or something?"
