Okay, confessing my sins to establish the back story...
We bought an old car to have a 2nd front-wheel drive care for these lovely Indiana winters, and um, sort of put the license plate to our old car on it. We usually put everything in both our names, and we just never seemed to get to the BMV together to take care of getting the registration/title/plate done.
So about 3 weeks later on New Year's Eve, I got pulled over with the girls, b/c my plate was expired, and sort of registered to a different vehicle. Add to that that while I did have correct proof of insurance, the title I had (no registration, obviously) was still in the previous owner's name. Then on top of that (and this wasn't my fault), the VIN # was actually registered to someone other than the name on the title the seller had given us. No idea how to explain that one, but the police determined I wasn't an evil car thief (helped that I had met the officer before and we have a mutual friend), and I got a warning for the expired plate and was told to go straight to the BMV, which I did. For some reason, the girls were absolutely terrified of the the policemen. Getting pulled over always gets my heart going, and it's not my favorite thing, but they were almost in tears they were so scared. So since then I have made it a point to remind them that the police who pulled me over were just doing their job to keep us all safe and they're not scary - they're the good guys.
ANYWAY, yesterday Katelyn and I fishtailed turning out of our neighborhood onto the main drag, and were about perpendicular to the road for a few seconds. I said, "Phew," and Katelyn's first thought was, "Are the police gonna come?"
Then this morning, I was telling Breanna about what happened yesterday, and after Katelyn interjected, "That was not cool!!" Breanna's first thought was, "Did you get a ticket?"
OK that was a lot of typing, and yes, it was funnier when each of them said what they said than when I look at it in print. But oh well, at least I won't ever forget it now. :-)

Handles?
One I almost forgot about...in a Tiana book, her friend is in the background of the pic in a strapless dress, and Katelyn pointed out that, "she doesn't have any handles to hook on!"
