Then as she was walking around, she got a piece stuck between her toes. She stopped, bent down, pulled it out and then, of course, ate it. To top it all off, when we told Shane about it, what did he say? "That's my girl!" Yeah, well, that's my husband.

Crunch munch
Breanna likes GrapeNuts cereal, which she calls crunch munch. She has refused to eat anything else for breakfast lately and also required it for dinner tonight. But this time, she wouldn't sit in her seat either. Since we'd had a rough evening (no nap today), I let her eat it sort of on-the-go, so there was now cereal all over the floor (which of course I'd just vacuumed).
Things to say during church...especially at the quiet moments
We've already said, "I got a boogie outta my nose," and "Go poopie in the potty." So now, while not as obviously embarrassing, this was still silly. This past Sunday Breanna was patting Shane and said, "I need to wipe that mole off of you." Probably not going to happen.
For all you Dora fans out there...
The other day, as Breanna was refusing to eat her dinner (very typical), she finally said, "Swiper needs to come swipe my dinner." I couldn't help but laugh. :-)

Things I don't want to forget
This is old, but I just remembered it recently.
Breanna loves her bunny from Aunt Dana so much. So much in fact, that she "loves her like family. Like a sister."
Just gives me a smile - where she would get the idea to say something so sweet, I don't know, but it's cute nevertheless!!
And then to preserve the other side of the coin...
Today at the park, after a 5-min and 2-min time warning, I said, "Okay, kiddo, one more slide down, okay?" and she said, "Okay." So after that slide she took off to climb something else. I followed her and said, "Breanna, that's not obeying Mommy." And she replied, "No, I not obey you." Needless to say, we left kicking and screaming...her, not me.
