Terry was gracious enough to watch Breanna yesterday for an hour or so at the church while Shane and I went for our first ultrasound. Before her nap she had had a meltdown because Care Bears wasn't quite over, and then I had to wake her up before she was ready. So I said I had already packed up all her shows to take so she could watch them with Terry (which I'm sure he enjoyed). So the whole car ride to the church was me reassuring her about all the many shows I brought. Here was the basic conversation:
Me: I brought Signing Time, Letter Factory, Charlotte's Web, Cinderella, Care Bears, and Nemo.
Breanna: And Pancake?
Me: Pancake?
Breanna, with confidence: Pancake.
Me: I don't know a show about a pancake.
Breana: Pancake.
Me: Are you hungry?
Breanna: No.
Me: Because I brought you lots of snacks, but I didn't bring you any pancakes.
Breanna, after a minute to think: Strawberry Shortcake?
Me: Oh!!!!!!!! Yes, I brought the Strawberry Shortcake movie, too.
