You're not a what?

Today on the way to BSF, we had Beautiful One playing in the car.  The lyrics are:

Beautiful One I love,
Beautiful One I adore,
Beautiful One, my soul must sing.

Breanna said, "I'm beautiful."  I said, "Yes, you are.  God made you beautiful."  (I wasn't paying attention to the song that was on yet.)  Then she said, "I'm not a door."  I said, "What?  You're not a what?"  She said, "A door.  I'm not a door."

After I realized what song was playing I laughed for quite a while, and then I explained what the word "adore" means, and also the fact that while she is beautiful, the song wasn't actually written about her!

Then on a more serious note, How Deep the Father's Love For Us came on, and one of the lines is "The father turns his face away."  She questioned this and I said he just turned his face away for a little bit, but that he would never turn his face away from Breanna.  She didn't seem to understand, so I actually had to come up with the 2-year-old's version of Jesus' sacrifice on the cross.  It was really simplified, but I think she got the idea.  And oddly enough, she was sweeter all day than she has been for the last week!!
